The Vermont Institute for the Psychotherapies (VIP) is offering Tuesday evening Salons from 6:30pm – 9:00pm. These are informal gatherings that offer an opportunity to socialize with wine, snacks and to discuss specific papers.
Dr. Alice Silverman (email@example.com), VIP faculty member, will discuss the psychodynamic meanings of medication use and discontinuation, a new topic critical to psychiatry, as outlined in a paper by Dr. David Mintz, Erin Seery, and John Cahill from Austin-Riggs and Yale entitled ‘Deprescribing: A Psychoanalytically -Informed, Patient Centered Perspective.’ The Salon will be held at Dr. Silverman’s office in Montpelier.
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Salons are free.
To pre-register, please contact Dr. Alice Silverman, firstname.lastname@example.org. Links to readings as well as address and directions will be provided when you pre-register.
