VAPS Applied Committee invites all VAPS members to an afternoon of film, dinner and discussion at the Middlebury College Hirschfield Film Series' screening of "Graduation"

The VAPS Applied Committee will be featured in one or more of the "Talkback Thursdays" to add a psychoanalytic perspective on themes within the play.

Please join us from 12-4 pm at the Great Room of Main Street Landing in Burlington for annual reports, election of officers, and an educational section featuring a viewing of Christopher Bollas' 2016 talk "Mental Pain" with group discussion to follow. The event is free of charge and includes lunch.

VAPS is pleased to announce that our distinguished speaker for the 2017 Scientific Meeting, Dr. Abbot Bronstein, PhD, will facilitate a case presentation and discussion on the morning following the conference.

Dr. Bronstein will be presenting two papers at this year's Annual Scientific Meeting. The morning paper is titled "Grievance and Change: Searching for the Perfect Ending," and the afternoon paper is titled "How and what analysts do as interpretation in psychoanalysis: Further findings from the Comparative Clinical Methods Working Party Resear...

We will have another one-year seminar series beginning this fall for the 2017-2018 year. We would like to extend an invitation to interested clinicians to participate.
