Esteemed psychologist and psychoanalytic researcher, Usha Tummala-Narra, Ph.D., will be presenting the 2nd Short Course in our 2026 series. This course focuses on race and immigration in psychoanalytic theory and practice in a rapidly shifting sociopolitical context within the United States, with a specific focus on new anxieties and defenses evoked by race and immigration in the present-day.

Erica Lorentz, MEd, LPC, Diplomate Jungian Analyst (IAAP) will be presenting the 3rd Short Course in our 2026 series. This course will use the neuroscience of Iain McGilChrist to trace through history how fruitful aspects of the embodied soul came to be marginalized. The presenter will engage attendees in exploring Jung’s favored method of embodied active imagination as a way of engaging wounds through the therapeutic relationship and the inter-active field.
